So sorry that our client at ICM has passed
I got him casted as the Captain in a BBC production of the HMS Pinafore. He started out as a big band singer before he hosted Hollywood Sqares.
In an unusual gesture for most clients, he sent me a handwritten thank you note.

It's more fulfilling to laugh than to cry. What was even more fulfilling was watching Peter Marshall hosting the very light but entertaining Hollywood Squares program.
He will always be an Icon of the 1970's.

Hi Laurie, It's Allen Weiss, Jill Slavin's (LPGA) brother. Jill and I so enjoyed the many golf tournaments we shared together. I also enjoyed the many nights Peter would come to our big band rehearsals to rehears some of his big band vocal charts. So sorry to hear of his passing. If there's a chance you'd be willing to sell any of his library I'd be interested. My number is (818) 652-2445.

Of course, I watched Peter on Hollywood squares but then on PBS television when he was hosting the big band fundraiser. That's when I found out. What a wonderful singer and lover of the big band sound which had so many wonderful musicians and singers. What a great memory I'll have of that of his love of music

Peter was the perfect host for The Hollywood Squares. Loved his genial nature and banter with the contestants and the celebrity guests, and he handled his hosting duties adeptly. They put on some memorable, interesting, and funny shows, and the format fit beautifully with the era when the show aired.

I grew up watching "The Hollywood Squares". Peter was ever the smooth operator as a host. I had the pleasure of meeting Peter at a book signing in Encino back in 1995 and again in 2006 at The Game Show Congress. Peter is one of the nicest celebrities I've met. His wife, Laurie, took a picture of me with Peter.
