Rather late, I just heard this sad news. Peter, you were a steadfast help through various crises and legal issues and never gave anything but perfectly honest legal advice - and always the best advice at that. The first and only solicitor I ever consulted, I came to think of you first and foremost as a friend, as I'm sure you knew - Minty and I remember you with great affection and offer our condolences to your family. Had been trying to Contact Peter for a few days, and eventually found this news, which is very sad!
Peter had gone out of his way over the last 20 years to help me as a young entrepreneur and farmer, giving great services, and sage advice and often not fully charging for this. I have put number of commercial and family challenges his way and have always found myself returning to his council over other more specialized solicitors. Peter simply wanted those he thought good people to succeed, and for the law not to be a barrier to them, but an aid. I even had the fortune to buy him a drink a few times, which at the time, as well as now, was an honor. I will remember you always.

Mr Peter Mason-Apps was our family solicitor for decades. We are devastated to hear of his passing, and we send our thoughts and prayers to his family during this time. He is much missed. We are sending a card to his office address this week, and we hope someone can forward to his family.
