Longtime Member and former Treasurer, Church of the Redeemer It is with great sadness that the family of Peter Brady McKercher announce his passing on Friday, September 25, 2009 at the Kingston General Hospital, Kingston, surrounded by the love of his family, in his 83rd year. Beloved husband and best friend of 58 years to Elizabeth 'Mickey'. Loving father of Peter and his wife Cathy, Paul and his wife Laurie and Mark and his wife Lisa, all of Kingston. Proud grandfather of Nicole, Angie (Trevor), Cory, Christopher (Laura), Leanne (Collin), Lisa (Darren) and great grandfather of Dustin, Jack and Olivia. Dear brother of Doreen Craig of Ottawa and David McKercher of Toronto. Resting at the James Reid Funeral Home, Cataraqui Chapel (1900 John Counter Boulevard) Kingston on Monday from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm. Funeral Tuesday, September 29, 2009 for service in the chapel of the funeral home at 10:30 am, The Reverend Doctor Douglas Fox officiating. Cremation will follow with a private family interment at a later date.
