Peter Monson Obituary
Born in Lincoln Park, he is the son of the late Woody and Mary Childs Monson. Prior to moving to Franklin in 1993 he had lived in West Milford. For 35 years Mr. Monson worked as a heavy equipment operator for Frank Semeraro Construction Company in Wayne, retiring in 2006. He was a former volunteer fireman serving with Company No. 1 in Mountain View, Wayne.
Mr. Munson was predeceased by his wife Barbara Ann Gunderman Monson in 2007.
He was the devoted father of Susan Hojewski-Zuk of Hewitt, Debbie Dahlman of Houston, Texas and Lisa Monson of Franklin; also cherished by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The family will receive their friends at the F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main St., Franklin, on Thursday, July 17, from 2 to 4 and 5 to 7 p.m. Final disposition will be held privately.
