Words cannot tell how much I miss you. I think about you everyday ... Grief is crippling. It takes so long to get back to normal, the new normal without you. I know you frequently visit me and please don't ever stop. Until our souls reunite, may you have eternal peace among the heavens and may your light shine brightly down upon all your loved ones.. Love from your sister, Cam.

Hey Nadine, I don't know if you will be able to see this or not, but I want you to know how sorry I am that you lost your Dad. I didn't know until today, when I went to a dinner Theater and there was a dedication to him in it. My heart hurts for you. As you know, I lost my Dad too. It never stops hurting, but eventually you learn how to live with it. He will always be with you, as my Dad is with me. I have very fond memories of you guys at Asbury; playing in bell choir together and doing the plays, and our talks..... Sending you prayers and love, Melody Gardner

I found this obituary in accident while I was searching for my Dad, Mike A Natale.

I hope this isn't intrusive but I want to leave my love here anyway.. because Natale's are amazing creatures and I'm sure we are all distant cousins. Much love and support from another grieving Natale kid. -Gray

Here it is June 5th and I had to call WMBG just today and ask why Peter Natale wasn't on the air anymore. I am shocked and so saddened to hear of Peter's passing. At the time of Peter's death, I was at MCV with surgery, followed by two weeks of rehabilitation. I noted Peter's absence from radio the first part of May and finally after 'missing his music and commentary', I called 740 radio. My heart is so heavy right now. You see, Peter understood his audience, we of the so called Silent Generation (those born prior to the 'baby boomers') felt he catered to our music of Doo Wop and rock n roll of that time. Then, oh how much I missed his Memorial Day dedication. You see, Peter truly understood Memorial Day as being the day truly dedicated to those that made the 'ultimate sacrifice' for their country. Personally, I was so grateful that he understood the loss of my father in WWII when I was 2 years of age. Oh, what is the use, I could go on and on about Peter. How I wish WMBG understood the significance of Peter's choice of music and resume the Big Band Sound for those still here and then for the Silent Generation as we are still here hopefully for another 10 years or so. Anyway, what a tribute to Peter if WMBG understood what he truly meant to us, his listeners.
To Peter's family, my heartfelt condolences and gratitude for sharing Peter with us. May your memories be of comfort.

A faithful listener and follower, Gloria Sciole of Williamsburg.

Over the period of the last two years, Peter and I got acquainted through a referral from a subscriber at Arts Alive Inc. He advised our organization on how to use WMBG to promote our performances and even "composed" our radio ads. He was always communicating and connecting in positive and timely ways. The greater Williamsburg area and Arts Alive will certainly miss him. Blessings to his family.

I still can not believe Peter is gone ... I had been sharing my college radio DJ experiences from Va Tech (60's) with Peter by email ... I even sent him an old air check from one of my shows at WUVT ... my wife Carol and I enjoyed his Saturday "Back to the Fifties" show ... I had planned on stopping by WMBG to meet Peter ... it is with great sadness that Peter has passed and I will never meet him in person ... may God watch over Peter in Heaven ... !!

It's okay that you're away from me for a while
It won't be long for you but for me I'll just smile
Upon your arrival I'm sure you did see
Our mom and our dad and lots of family
Holding their hand out saying Peter come here
You should have felt warm and loved and filled with good cheer
Our souls reunite with the ones who have gone
Leaving us here on earth to deal with and mourn.
But you my dear brother I hope you can see
How very loved you were and what you meant to me
Memories of us will always stay near
To my heart and my soul even though I have fear
You are well now, healthy and wise
And I'm sure God the Savior was not a bit surprised
When he saw you come home to his heaven above
Now it's His turn to shed you with all of his love
Watch over me, your family and all of your friends
Because we know we will see you again
And be happy to be where you are in heaven above
Because I'm sending you off with all of my love.
Your sister, Camille Natale Henderson

Passion....Peter did everything in life with passion and it spread to anyone near him. He epitamized the act of friendship. I am honored to have known him, worked with him...and most humbled to have been a friend. Now, as he takes his last bow at center stage I am grateful to have been a friend as we all give a standing ovation at his final curtan call. His memories will never fade.

Peter Natale was one of a kind. He was a special person who was knowledgeable and passionate about the arts. His recent shows on WMBG gave Williamsburg another glimpse of the depth of his abilities and experiences. Heaven has received a gentle soul who will continue to inspire those with whom he comes in contact. Peter, you will be missed.

Another piece of my heart has passed on to heaven. We made a great team as director and choreographer for A Chorus Line, The Producers and Cats. I am sad that no more shows are in our future, but more than that, saddened by losing my friend. I have so much respect for Peter for so many reasons. His selflessness, positive attitude, warmth and honesty and how considerate he was to others. In all he did, he gave 200%. I saw him nurture many young performers, sometimes with the tough love that they needed. He made them better by demanding more of them. He loved his family and all of his friends. I hope that there is theatre in heaven and that he will be directing again. Look down on me sometimes, Peter and stay in my corner. I still need you here and will never forget you and what you have meant to me. I only hope that I was half the friend to you that you were to me. Now & Forever

I was saddened to hear of the passing of Peter. I had met him personally only a few weeks ago. His WMBG radio broadcasts were phenomenal. Peter was indeed a great showman. WMBG will not be the same without his
do-wop music programs. My prayers and thoughts are with his daughter and grandson who he spoke of with great love.

Peter was kind, inspirational, funny, and talented. It was fascinating to watch him take a group of all ages from audition to showtime. And what a show it would be! He touched so many lives through the theater and shared with all his vision, his warmth, his friendship, and a little magic. He will be missed.

Peter Natale was a great showman and his audiences knew it. I worked with Peter on many of his Williamsburg Players productions. He was, by far, the most
prolIfic director in the Players history, having directed 12 shows in the period 2060-2015. In addition he often helped build sets, worked in the light/sound booth, appeared on stage, served on the Players Board, etc.
He not only worked with the Players, but also with the Peninsula Community Theatre, and the Smithfield Players.
I was proud to call him my friend and shall miss him greatly.
