I was thinking of Judge Nault this morning while thinking of my daughter. I was hoping I had sent him a thank you card for his part in saving my daughter. You see he was instrumental in being there for her when she needed someone just like him in her life. Years ago I sent a letter to Judge Nault to intercede on her behalf as she faced a court date at the young age of 15. He took her under his wing while still holding her accountable. He followed her path through the courts until she reached 18. To me, he was her miracle. He cared, he did not see her as just another teen in trouble. He chose to see her as a person that needed hope and love. She now volunteers her time to give back to troubled teens. So, thank you Judge Nault for your tireless years of duty on the bench. You chose to make a difference in the lives of others and see beyond what others may see. Blessings to you and your family

Judge Nault married my husband and I on this day, August 12th 1995. Wish we could've gone to his memorial today. Back in 1995 he almost wasn't going to officiate because he had been hurt that previous weekend from a boating accident - but we had a chair for him so he could perform the ceremony. He stayed for the reception in which we could hear him laughing and enjoying himself. He was a great Judge and Friend. We send all love and condolences to his Family and Friends - he will be missed. Grateful that we got to cross paths :)

I worked with Judge Nault at the Redmond/Northeast District Court. He'd stop by my desk and discuss the Sonics game from the night before since he knew I was a huge Sonics fan. I always enjoyed chatting with him. Condolences to the Nault family.
