Peter NOONAN

Sylvia,

You and I have never met and I only recently learned of Peter's passing from John Quigley. I knew Peter well in the early 1950's in Perth and we had some wonderful times together. He joined the RCAf and wanted me to go also but I went on to a 39 year career in the Royal Bank. We had no contact thereafter but I often thought of him. May God grant you the peace and strength necessary to carry on in life. I am sure God welcomed Peter with open arms and he will be waiting for you in paradise.

It was profoundly sad for Pete and I to learn of the passing of your beloved Peter, your soulmate.
What a long fight it has been for the two of you these many years. A cancer journey endured by Peter, and you, Sylvia, always being lovingly by his side throughout it all. With grit and love, and a shared sense of humour. An honoured life. An inspiration.
Peter has been called to God and to Heaven; we know love goes on forever. Your many beautiful memories will comfort you, Sylvia. You are in our hearts, our thoughts, and prayers.

We share your sorrow Sylvia. Pete was my cousin and I have many childhood memories of going to Perth to see Auntie Flora and Uncle Art, Pete and Heather, sharing in Flora's baking, sleeping on the floor during festivals in Stewart Park, etc. We were always so proud that our cousin was an Air Canada pilot and whenever we took a flight (not often) because our dad worked for CN we would listen for the name of the Captain.
