PETER EDWARD O'ROURKE

Five years after Peter's death, I'm looking through a bunch of old business cards, and came upon one from Peter when he was my rep at Great West Life. I looked him up, and am saddened to see that he has died. But more than for him, I am sad for all the people in his life that knew and loved him. I only knew him as a financial rep, but his love and pride in his family was always present with him. He was funny and caring as an adviser. I'm sure he was a thousand times more with family and friends.

Mrs. O'Rourke - My condolences. Although we never met, I worked with Peter in a couple of different agencies he had and was on his creative team at FCB O'Rourke, in Toronto, where I got to know him best. He was tireless in his pursuit of excellence and a great inspiration. I had the opportunity to chat with him some years later when he was involved in developing golf courses and had left the crazy ad business behind. He always had time to take a call from an old associate, which was one of his best qualities. I will always have fond memories of my time with him.

It is with sadness that we learned of Peter's passing, but know that you will all cherish the memories you made together. We definitely associate Peter with good times and his sense of humour was renown.
