My sympathies to the family...what a shock. We have lost a dynamic scientist and contributor.Peter had much more to do with his life and its sudden curtailment has left us all the poorer.

Dear Aidan, Mackenzie and Marin; we would like to express our deepest sympathies in the passing of your Father and Grandfather. Our thoughts are with you during this difficult time.
Our death is not an end if we can live on in our children and the younger generation. For they are us, our bodies are only wilted leaves on the tree of life. ~Albert Einstein

I hoped, and hoped¡ once I wake up, it is just a bad dream¡..
I was completely shocked when I heard the saddest news. I cannot believe that Dr. Pang has left us. Dr. Pang is a very respectable person who is absolutely brilliant and charming. His attitude towards working, research and life has impacted on a great deal of people who were working with him. Dr. Pang is a great mentor who introduced me to research. He is the person I admire and respect the most. His supervision and encouragement are of great value in my career and my life. I am Dr. Pang's last graduate student; and in this way, I feel special and adored. Dr. Pang, to me, is not just a professor, a supervisor, a mentor; he is someone like a father.
I am sure the memories are forever. He is the one who blooms in other¡¯s hearts, and memories will never fade away. God bless him.
