Peter passed away peacefully on Monday, April 11, 2016 in Calgary, AB. He will be dearly missed by his wife, Valerie; children, Paul, Greg, Suzanne, Kathleen, Melissa, and many grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held at FOSTER'S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen's Park Cemetery) on Monday, April 18, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family via the website www.fostersgardenchapel.ca. Valerie and Family,
My sincere condolences to all of you. I only just learned of the passing of Peter today. I remember Peter for reasons quite different from the majority, that being his coaching of the Rosebud Lions Pony League team of 1955, who incidentally won the Southern Alberta Pony League championship that year. As I was a team member, I remember how proud we all were of our achievement, made possible through the efforts which Peter put forth.

I met Peter in 1966. He and his wife Sonjia were involved in the Liberal party as were we. They were instrumental in encouraging and backing my deceased former husband Lorne Anger to be an Alderman for the city of Calgary 1998_70. I always enjoyed your Parents! My heartfelt condolences.

I just found out today of Peter's passing. A true friend which will truly be missed. May God take care of you now. Suzanne, Paul, Greg, Val, I know you will miss a Great father and Husband.

I met Peter back in 1967 when I came to Calgary for summer holidays on a Student Visa. He offered me a summer job and hired me as his secretary. We shared many great, wonderful and memorable experiences with the entire family. He will be deeply missed.
