Pete and I were best friends. We loved each other very much. Spent an amazing night with him the night before he passed. We talked about our future plans. It's been a shock to all who knew him. I miss him so very much. My heart goes out to his family and friends. He was a one of a kind man. So loving, caring, kind, compassionate, giving and empathetic. He had the most beautiful smile that was contagious. His voice carried but was soothing also. One day we will be with him until then, we cherish our memories, photos, videos, voice mails. Pete said the REO speedwagon song"keep on loving you " reminded him of me and would sing it to me. After his funeral drivng home. The song played from the start as I turned on the radio when it was over I switched station again the song started from the beginning. I want to believe that was from Pete his last words to me before going to Heaven.

It's been many years since Pete and I were roommates at Hickory Creek. When I think back to those days, I remember Pete's generous nature and friendly smile. My condolences to Mr. and Mrs. Petruska, Billy, and Sue.

It has been many years since we were all growing up together on Village Grove. Mr. & Mrs. Petruska, Billy and Susan, I am very saddened to learn of Pete's passing . Even though I was young when I knew Pete, I remember his smile and him being tenderhearted. I think I can even recollect his playing kickball a time or two.
I will pray for each of you to find some peace in your many memories of the good times you shared together . God bless you and each of your families during this difficult time.

Mr. and Mrs. Petruska, Billy, Sue, and family, I send my heartfelt condolences to you all.

Your son/brother/uncle was so kind to me and my family back in November (and many other times) when my father was taken unexpectedly to the ER. You all know my father as Wally Parsons' brother, Jerry. We were very anxious waiting to see what Daddy's diagnosis was and Pete called and was such a calming influence. I had a wonderful conversation with him and he was so positive and encouraging. I am sure this doesn't surprise you about Pete, but I wanted you to know.

He meant so much to my sister over the last year and was a blessing to her and our family in many ways.

Sending prayers up for you all.

I remember Pete as my then brother-in-laws' neighbor. He and his siblings played together as children and little did I know, years later he became my daughter Lori Parsons' soul mate and best friend. It was such a shock to our family, and especially to Lori that he died so soon. God has a plan and now Pete is in no pain and is at peace with the Lord. My prayers are with you Laura and family Love, Pat Parsons Randall

I worked with Pete periodically, which is to say I knew him. My first memory of Pete was when I met him in a training course. He was very upbeat and positive, and I liked him immediately. The last time I worked with him was last Thursday night/Friday morning before he passed. I was shocked to hear this news. Pete was always willing to help me and provide useful information while we worked on projects, and for this, I will always be grateful. I send prayers out to him and his family, that they may get through this tough time. He will be missed. RIP Pete.

I am Peter's neighbor, in the address next to him at 12323. When I moved next door to Pete in 2002/03, I was still a elementary school student. I recently bought the house I spent the majority of my upbringing in. Pete saw me grow up from elementary school to what I am now (aged 25, 26 in March), and we were just reacquainting ourselves, since I've bought the house I lived in for so many years. I remember we remarked how it 'full circle'--I'm back at the place I moved into, and now I own, as a grown adult with a career! Pete was always kind, he was always motivating, and he was a fine neighbor, and friend. I am honored to know him, and I am happy to remember his memory. Pete was a good friend, an Army Veteran (HOOAH!), and a person who people should aspire to be. Rest easy, Pete.
