To the Philhower family:
I just learned of Pete's death this past November. I was a young graduate engineer from Wisconsin-Milw when I joined Trane in January 1980. Pete was a strong influence on my career. He was very disciplined in tackling his daily workload, very attuned to customer visits to HQ, strong in recognizing good performance in others, always professionally attired, very intelligent, and an excellent business writer. Skills that have influenced me through my career. On behalf of the many of us from Trane that were influenced by Pete's strengths - "Thank you Pete Philhower!"
