I am simply a patient of yours , Kara, but when I heard this news today at your office my heart broke for you, your children and family. I will be praying for all of you and that God will comfort you and guide you through this horrific time. May He give you all the comfort, peace and healing that you will need in the times that you need it. He is a great God and He is for you and grieves with you. It is times like this we ask why? I grew up on Raccoon Hill just behind Shadowbrook and had the chance to get to know Pete. He was a great guy back then and sounds like That continued throughout the years. Linda, Eric, Paul, Kara, kids and family - I grew up with Peter and the boys on Shadowbrook Drive and I am so sad and heartbroken to learn of his passing. What a great childhood we had on that street, in the woods, in the creek, pickup football games, at Campbell's annual street picnic - so so many! I did not know Peter past high school but every word written about him is fitting for the kind little kid he was that clearly carried him into adulthood. Although I don't know you, please except my deepest sympathy for the loss of your husband, father, relative, and friend. Many people are grieving your loss. This is a tragedy. I very well know about rapids since I had a near drowning accident as a teenager at another state park while swimming.

My heart is heavy this morning hearing the news of Pete's passing. I only knew Pete a short time 5 years ago when I was starting down a new path in my career. I enjoyed getting to know Pete, he helped me feel comfortable in new surroundings; helped me feel welcome. My heart goes out to all of Pete's family and friends.

I am devastated and heartbroken beyond words for all of you. I just learned of Pete's passing today.
I cut Pete's hair for a few years and what I can say about Pete is that he was a class act, quiet, and loved his family. He never had much to say but appreciated a good haircut and appreciated me asking about Kara and the kids. What a wonderful respectable and good man he was!
