From the moment that i met Peter at a confirmation retreat he had my utmost respect. He truly was a man of God. My prayers are with his family. May God bring each of you peace and understanding in such a difficult time.

I'll always remember Peter as kind, hospitable and welcoming person. Although I only knew Peter for a short time it was meaningful. When I first came to the Surrey area as a minister only a year ago Peter went out of his way to make me feel welcome and invite me to go skiing. He offered his support in getting settled in my new ministry.

I'm so glad to have known Peter even a little.
It was a pleasure to see him at the last
WVH Reunion with his lovely wife.
He struck me as a very elegant and noble man
with a wonderful sense of humour.
I can only imagine how Peter will be missed
by his family.
My deep felt condolences to them all.

Peter was the minister at Mission when I was in my early teens. I recall how committed he was to strengthening faith in young people -- he encouraged me (and others) to become involved in parish life, including performing folk songs (Bob Dylan!) for Sunday congregations, and I always felt he respected young people, as well as the adults in the congregation. My sympathies to his family and friends, and prayers for them.
