Peter Rosanelli

ROSANELLI, Dr. Peter Jr., passed away Saturday, November 8, 2014, at age 78. He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Pamela Grizzard Rosanelli; his children, Lynley Rosanelli Cavanaugh and husband, Tom, of Richmond, Stephanie Meredith Faul and husband, John, of Newport Beach, Calif. and Cabell Thomas Rosanelli and wife, Jamie, of Washington, D.C. He is also survived by his granddaughter, Blair Neil Cavanaugh; his brothers and sisters, Marie-Louise Rosanelli Metzger, Madeline Marie Rosanelli Davenport and Richard Charles Rosanelli, all of Richmond; and his seven nieces and nephews. Peter was a 1954 graduate of St. Christopher's School, 1958 graduate of Hampden-Sydney College and a 1965 graduate of the Medical College of Virginia, where he completed his OB/GYN residency. Peter served two years in the United States Air Force as a Captain. He was stationed in Loring, Maine and performed his duties as a military OB/GYN. In 1971, he entered into private practice in Richmond, Va., following in his father, Dr. Peter Rosanelli Sr.'s footsteps. Peter devoted his entire professional life to his patients and the practice of medicine until he retired in June, 2010.
