Maureen & Family,
My deepest sympathy. I've never known a finer individual than Pete. He helped me so much in sustaining confidence in school and at work. He was relentless in his endeavors.
The fun and laughs we had at the bridge table can never be replaced. He will live forever in my memories.

I will always treasure the times I spent with Pete. He was always a most gracious host. He taught me how to play bridge, although not all that well (my playing, not his teaching). Our tumble out of the canoe in the Moshannon falls during our family canoe trip comes to mind often. Pete was one of the most intelligent people I have ever met but never made you feel stupid. His sharp sense of humor spared no one especially himself. He was also one of the most compassionate people I have ever known. It was obvious that his family was the most treasured possesion he had. I will always be thankful for Pete's devotion to my sister. If I could have hand picked a brother-in-law I couldn't have found a better person than Pete. My only regret is that I never told him this in person, but I am sure Pete knew how we all felt about him.
