Although for a very short time, I also worked for Pete at Williams Chevrolet. He was a sincere and kind man. After I left Williams Chevrolet, I sometimes would stop in to say hello and chat. It was a testatment to this man to receive me and let me chew the fat with him. My sincerest sympathies to his family. Joe Tringone

You will be missed more than you know. You've touched many people's lives who were sad to see you go. We kept thinking you would be saying,"All this for me?" But we all knew that's the only way it would be. We will be strong just for you, because that's what you would want us to do. Everyone knows you as loving and grateful, thoughtful and kind, and for all of those reasons you will remain in our minds.

I did not know Pete very well, but he was a great guy. I met you both through his classmate Rich Berkowitz. We enjoyed a few BBQs with both of you as well as the Amityville High School reunion. He will be sorely missed. Our deepest sympathies to you and the family.

Pete hired me to sell cars at Williams Chevy in 1998 as an 18 year old, put up with my crazy ideas and antics and immature ways day after day.

He actually fired me once for being late (yet again) and I came in, begged for my job back and promised to improve. He gave me another shot and I ended up working for Pete for 5 years after that.

I left Williams in 2003 and as I am now a Manager myself of at an Automotive industry-related software company, I credit Peter for teaching me the industry but above all else, teaching me to be patient with good people and good things will happen.

Pete was a great man and often a father figure to me during a very shakey time of my life. The news of his passing struck me hard today, if only I had heard sooner so I could have paid my respects in person.

In the end, my career, house, wife and life have been made possible by Peter Spadaro's patience, intelligence and character. My deepest condolences to you, his sons and the entire family.

To my other family, the Spadaro's. I wish I could be there with you. Mass is happening now as I write. I am in tears for myself and for Mrs. Spadaro, Joanne and the whole family but I also realize that their is a joyous reunion of father and son going on. Peter and I grew up together in the auto business (since 1974) and I enjoyed the journey with him. I wish I had touched base with him more often lately (a mistake we make too often in life). When we did speak it was interesting to see how our lives were somewhat parallel (family, kids, work, etc.) Peter was a true professional and more importantly a compassionate husband/father/grandfather/friend/ boss/gentleman. He will be missed by all that were privileged to know him and share his life.

I will keep Peter and your family in my thoughts and prayers.
