Peter A. Telep

Dear Re,
I am thinking of Peter these days, for it was in Maine (where I am now) that I received the sad news of his passing. He was a handsome, generous and kind man, always, always interested in what any guest or acquaintance had to say. He lives in my memory as tending to your plantings at the end of your driveway on a fine summer day,smiling and vibrant in the sunshine. I will never forget him, a wonderfully friend and neighbor!

Re I can´t tell you how sorry I am to hear about Peter. He was such a super guy and so incredibly kind to me when Stewart died. I will be thinking of you all.

My heart is with Re, PJ, and Dave and their whole families at this time. He was like a dad to me all through high school and Re, a second mom. I will miss him very much.

I am so sorry to hear of Petes passing. My husband, Whitey and I admired Pete, who was a wonderful person. May his soul now rest in peace. Sue Cameron

Re, so sorry to hear of Peter's passing. My husband, Julio the barber passed away February 14 of this year. I will never forget what wonderful landlords Peter's parents were to Julio. I am sure Peter and Julio will meet in Heaven.

To the entire Telep family, I am sad to hear that Peter has passed away. I had the pleasure to meet Peter at SHS. He was a great person. Dear Teleps,

I will forever have wonderful memories of Mr Telep and your family. Our son Nick is working on Nantucket for the summer as a sailing instructor and we spent a week there as a family. I was retelling the story of Mr. Telep looking out for me when I walked down the beach to a bonfire with some teenage boys I had met. I realized it wasn't a good situation and turned around, just to find him walking down the beach to find/retrieve me at the same time. Hugs to all. Susannah and family

Peter was one of the most elegant, friendly and generously welcoming men I have had the great privilege and pleasure of knowing. My prayers and deepest sympathy are extended to his dear Re and their beloved family.
