Remembering Peter, always happy no matter what he did. We asked him to to look funny for our album, he still made it seem elegant. Our memories of him are always so much fun. Thanks for the memories.

Aunty Diane, We are so very sorry for your loss and feel blessed to have been able to spend time with you and Peter on your visits here in the US. We looked through your photos and especially love the one of you two in Hawaii on your wedding day. Of course, we have that special bond, and will never forget your thoughtfulness when you and Peter sent flowers and champagne to our Hawaii wedding! We love you, and hope to see you soon! Peter is missed and we will never forget him. xoxo Gail & Eric

Dear Diane and family,
I just viewed the photos and video. They are a beautiful and loving tribute to a very dear and special Uncle! My memories of Peter always make me smile (I think he made everyone smile!). How fortunate we have all been to have had the pleasure and honor to know such a kind and gentle man. I'm praying for strength for all of you as you go through these difficult times, and hope the peace that comes from memories of Peter will bring you comfort now and in the days ahead. Please be gentle with yourselves. Sending much love, hugs and prayers your way. Love, Janine

Diane,
We are very sorry to learn of Uncle Pete's passing. He was one of the most generous, caring, talented men I have ever met. We always had a special bond, and I will never forget when you both took me into your home and allowed me to get a taste of your wonderful lives.
The two of you have always been an incredible example of what love and friendship should be. This is a very big loss for everyone. He was one of a kind. I will never forget him, and I will continue to sign his praises at every opportunity. He taught me many life lessons, some of which are:
1. Men must be able to build shelves;
2. Never go fishing or crabbing with people who are looking for dinner;
3. Dill pickles and corn on the cob are two of the major food groups;
4. The best way to be successful in your career is to do something you are passionate about;
5. Hawaii is a gift that needs to be explored and enjoyed;
6. Play time is the best time.
..and many, many more!
I will miss him dearly. Our hearts are very heavy for you.
We are thinking about you and we love you.

My Uncle Pete, I will miss you with all of my heart. You were a hero to me. A super hero. Even though you called me Super Nick, I knew who was the super one all along. I have learned so much from you. Your love and compassion for others and your passion for living life to its fullest are just a few. I will miss watching movies with you, BBQing ribs and our trips in your sailboat to Sidney Spit. But you are in my thoughts and memories. Lots of love, Nick.

Over the last three decades, I spent many enjoyable hours with Peter, at first as a client of TTC Design, then as a friend. We spent many hours on his boat fishing (he always caught more), crabbing, exploring and oh yes,even under the boat bottom-painting. Dolores and I counted Pete and Di as very good friends and enjoyed many social times together. I'm sorry to miss his memorial because of a family wedding in Ontario. Pete was my buddy. I'll always miss him.

Peter has been a great friend ever since I met him at the Alberta College of Art over 50 years ago. Peter played drums in a band and I was his roadie. As I drove him to his gigs, he would practice like crazy with his drum sticks on the dash board of my car. Many years later I was honoured to be his best man at his wedding to Diane in Hawaii. We had the kind of friendship that if we had not seen each other sometimes for a few years, we would connect instantly as if it had just been yesterday. Goodbye my matey I am going to miss you, and I'll miss being called Ellenniso that you nick named me.

The many memories I have of Uncle Pete will forever be cherished. Carving pumpkins together on Hallowe'en, sailing on his beautifully handcrafted boat, learning to fish and catch crabs out at sea, backyard summer BBQs, playing on his drum set, knowing he was in the audience at my dance recitals, and listening to his Star Trek Christmas decorations, are just a few.
A particularly fond memory of our time spent together was when he taught me to how drive. The anxious, discouraged attitude I projected towards learning this important skillset was comforted and made positive by Uncle Pete. Together, over the course of six months, we spent many hours on the road, cruising along in his blue truck. For every successful parallel park I achieved, he would award me a piece of his Spearmint gum! Never having followed through with earning my license then, but actively pursuing it now, I hope Uncle Pete knows that every time I'm on the road, I hear his friendly advice and unwavering encouragement guiding me on my way.
I feel so blessed to have grown up around Pete's gentle, supportive, kind-hearted, humorous, and selfless spirit. The role he has played for Nick and I is significant and he is an important influence that I will never forget and always adore. Uncle Pete was a constant presence throughout my life which has meant the absolute world to me.
Lady Di, you are in my thoughts and I send you my deepest love and sympathies. To Pete's sisters, children, grandchildren, friends, and all others fortunate to have known him so well; my condolences and love are with you.

We have fond memories of Peter, he was always so entertaining and interesting. He always found a common thread in everyone and would direct conversation in that direction. I've always described him as the ultimate gentleman, key word being gentle. He was the kindest, sweetest person and one always felt he genuinely cared about you. We will miss him and will always remember the love he showed you Diane. Who can forget the Friday roses. Sorry we can't be there with you. You know we are there in your heart, crying with you and sending you our sympathy, hugs and all our love. Be brave dear sister. - From Adie, Larry and family.

Dear Diane,
I was deeply saddened to hear of Peter's passing.
Peter (and TTC) provided invaluable support to our marketing team in the early days of the Victoria Conference Centre. As a result of our early successes Pete and his staff were part of the VCC family for many years. He was a delightfül man to know and to do business with; a gentleman in every sense of the word.
Swannie joins me in extending our deepest condolences. Unfortunately, we cannot attend on Saturday but please know you are in our thoughts.
Love,
David Titterton
