Peter TRIANTAFILLOU Obituary
June 29, 1935 - May 17, 2021. Of Town of Tonawanda, NY and Clearwater, FL. Beloved husband of Sofia (Drossos) Triantafillou; dear father of Patty (late Steve) Rissberger, Catherine Powers and Christina (Doug) Davis; loving grandfather of Peter, Sophie, Philip and Sofia; survived by one brother, and predeceased by other brothers and sisters; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call Wednesday 4-7 PM, at the LESTER H. WEDEKINDT FUNERAL HOME, 3290 Delaware Ave. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Thursday, at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church (Delaware and Utica) at 10:00 AM. Interment with Military Honors to follow in Elmlawn Memorial Park. Born in Parori, Florina, Greece. Peter settled in Buffalo in 1951, where he lived for many years before retiring to Clearwater, FL. Peter was a well known businessman in the Western New York area for many years, owning and operating restaurants such as Mitchell's Tavern, The Seneca Towne, Swistons Beef & Keg and The Family Tree. Uncle Peter was the kindest and most generous person that we have met. We were fortunate enough to see him every year in Greece. He will be truly missed by many people. May God rest his soul and may his memory be eternal.

We are so very sorry for your loss and send our deepest condolences to you Sofia and your family. Peter was a wonderful friend and was always so very thoughtful and generous to us.
One of our fondest memories was when we went to Greece we visited your lovely home there and you and Peter toured us through all the little villages, which we would have never seen. We will truly miss him.

This boy was a gift to our family. Why were we so deserving of him? His love, care and support never faded throughout the years. We were blessed yet again with my Brother´s bride, Sofia, who gave unconditional love, care and amazing partnership to my Brother, Petros. My heart is broken but my love for him will always remain strong. Rest In Peace my dear Brato.
