Peter Ulrich

Peter Travis Ulrich, 41, of Conover, North Carolina died unexpectedly on March 31, 2025. He succumbed to chronic physical pain which he suffered most of his lifetime.

He was the son of Larry and Glenda (Burkholder) Ulrich, and sister of Heather (Ulrich) Martin, married to Daryl Martin of Akron. Also surviving is a nephew, Kie Syzdek of Akron, Pa.

Born January 29, 1984, Travis grew up in East Earl, Pa. After High School he obtained a Master Mechanic degree at Universal Technical Institute and worked for Toyota, many years. (One of his great joys of accomplishment was rebuilding the engine of his own 2005 Corolla, and maintaining its life.) Later, he was offered a position with Secure Retail, as Point Of Sale analyst. He traveled around the country to manage not-for-profit POS programs in their stores.

Travis will be remembered as a humble, gentle, soul, who practiced love and compassion, especially to those less fortunate. He put others first and fought anger with kindness, love and patience. His relationship with God, gave him a source of Peace.

The family is having a private day to celebrate Travis's life. In Lui of cards gifts, flowers to the family, Travis would loved to have known, the outpouring of kind words, and care for a stranger you haven't met.
