Peter Warburton

Just heard this news sadly as I live in Canada now. I was a pupil at St Francis in the 80's. Peter was a great football coach and head teacher. Forever in my memory.

Got to know Peter when my children went to St Francis primary school in Cherry Tree Blackburn. I got involved with the PTA and spend many years raising funds for the school. I had many interesting conversations with Peter and we got on very well. My children: Katja and Stephen were very fond of him and still remember him well. They always said he was the best head teacher one could wish for none like him. May you rest in peace Peter with kind thoughts and fond memories Anneke Porter
