Peter Joseph Welty

My cousin Peter was an integral part of our clan of cousins while we were growing up. He was exceptionally creative and introspective, an old soul in a young body, and a person who greatly enjoyed philosophical conversations and a chance to discuss life's mysteries. He was always eager to spend time with the family, basking in the company of others, but was never uncomfortable marching to the sound of his own tune. He was loving, caring, and empathetic to his family and friends, always attentive and listening to the other person with whom he was speaking. Peter was deeply loved by our family unit, in turn, and his sudden, tragic loss is keenly felt, perhaps more than he could possibly know. To my Uncle, Aunt, and remaining cousins, and all other family members, let us try not to dwell upon the sorrowful circumstances of his death, but instead remember Peter as he was in health, and all the joy and fond memories that we shared with him at that time.

Pete, I remember spending time with your boys when they where younger ,they where always giggling and such a joy to be around . I can't even begin to imagine what you all are going threw ... . There are no words to eliminate the pain and void that are felt at this time for the family. I loved and adored him and he always occupied a special place in my heart. May God cradle him and His hands and blanket the family with a warmth of healing as time passes. Bless you all
