What I'll remember the most about my Uncle Peter was his giddy laugh and light-hearted side, his big smile and twinkling eyes, and his unwavering, animated friendliness. No matter how busy or what he was in the middle of doing at the height of the dinner rush he always stopped to look you in the eye and smile whenever he asked how you were doing.
Even when I saw him last Chinese New Year's he may not have been able to rise to greet me but that same smile and twinkle of recognition of a familiar face was there, and we were always glad for it.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to Teresa, Maria and Gerald, Paul, Carolyn, Alice and Karl, Ben, Derek, and all the other grandkids and great-grandkids Wong for his loss, and may his soul rest in peace, with his friends and family who have passed.

I remember Uncle Peter for his gentleness and kindness. I rarely saw him without a smile. I never heard him raise his voice. To me, he is the model immigrant, whose quiet toil paved a smooth road for us, the American-born generation, to get educated, to get jobs, and to build families. I hope that we will carry on the values that he embodied. I pray for Uncle Peter to be where God is. I pray for release and peace for Cousins Maria, Paul, John, Henry, Alice, and their families. May Uncle Peter rest in deepest peace.
