Petras Breichmanas Obituary
Passed away with family by his side at McMaster Hospital on Monday, May 17, 2010. He was born October 29, 1914 in Kedainiai, Lithuania, graduated in Law form Vilnius University. Beloved husband of Genovaite-Dumciute and Father of Gediminas "Peter" (Irene) and Giedre Szpiech (Henry). Tetukas to Andrew Breichmanas, Laura and Michael Szpiech. He was a longtime employee of Stelco, loved playing chess at his cottage in Wasaga Beach. A passionate sports fan especially of the Leafs. Petras was the head of the Hamilton Lithuanian Scouts for a number of years. A special thank you to Dr. Michael Achong for his kind and compassionate care. Visitation will be held at the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME, 615 Main Street East (east of Sanford), on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Rosary at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 58 Dundurn St. North, on Thursday, May 20, 2010 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at St. John's Lithuanian Cemetery, Mississauga.
