Dear Ms. Barringer,

I am very sorry for your loss. My dad told me about it. Please forgive me for not contacting you sooner. Mike and I have not communicated much lately. You are in my thoughts and my prayers. I hope to see you some time in the near future.

Love,

Roscoe

Margie and I send our deepest sympathies to you. Our family always thought that Dr. Barringer saved Margie's life when she was a very sick child, and other doctors didn't know what was wrong with her. He was a true friend to our family, and our parents, Bill and Lucille Pfister, thought the world of him. We children will always remember him with much fondness.

I was saddened when I read of Dr. Barringer's death. He was a kind and generous man. His concern for his patients and colleagues was evident and his imprint on Union County medicine will be long lasting. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Dr. Barringer was my family doctor from the time I knew anything about doctors. My mother Virginia would always have an asthma attack when he went on vacation or out of town. He was a very firm man and told you the right of things. He will be missed but in my heart forever
