I didn't know him personally, just from seeing him on DCC Making the team. He had an extraordinary personality, and was just so loveable. You felt like you knew him. I can only imagine the grief that the family and the organization shares. My deepest condolences to you all.
Sincerly,

I never had the pleasure of seeing or meeting Phil myself, but I looked forward to the times I got to see him appear on DCC Making the Team.
He was always so happy and warm with everyone and can see he was much loved by all.
Rest In Peace Phil, sending love from Australia .

When I first began watching Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team, I was drawn to Phil. I loved his enthusiasm and encouragement to the ladies who auditioned every year. He was like a teddy bear. Rest in Peace Phil.

Dit is in het Nederlands. Voor de Belgische en Nederlandse kijkers. Ik volg alle jaren de show op televisie. Phil was de show. Zijn enthousiasme, vrolijkheid en puurheid. Zal nooit vergeten worden..

Phil's passing brought years, and tears, flooding back. He was my "go to" at Texas Stadium and was always there to greet me when I arrived to stock our suite. I am blessed to have known him and will always cherish his memory. My condolences to his family and many friends.

I always took the time to talk to Mr. Whitfield everytime I visited AT&T Stadium. He seemed confused by my friendliness, as I was a stranger to him, but was a very cool person. I will miss his presence near the Pro Shop.

I was sad to hear when the Cowboys security guard had passed. I saw him on tv while watching DCC show. He was full of life & could dance. Phil was taken to soon.

My husband and I were lucky to get a private art tour at the stadium as we were the only people signed up that day. It is one of the memorable days we've ever experienced. Phil was a truly wonderful man! He will be missed.

I absolutely enjoyed watching the Making of the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders, knowing that Phil Whitfield would be there. He was a special man, that had compassion and love for his work, and as well as for people. He was highly respected and loved. R.I.P. my friend. Well done, thy good and faithful servant.
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day-and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing. 2 Timothy 4:7-8
