Was so saddened when I heard of Phil's passing...A Great man, Mentored me several times, I always enjoyed our conversations and his great insights...LOVED Tampa with all his heart. Phil lived his life with so much passion and a man of integrity. Tampa has lost a GREAT Friend and Cheerleader.

Mr. Alessi was a mentor and a very smart business man...I, along with family and friends will miss him dearly. Rest in peace Mr. Alessi.

You will be greatly missed I visited you shop ,many times as a child now as an adult I still use your bakery for all our company needs my condolences to all the family but he will live on in all our memories.

Phil lived his life and ran his businesses with class and integrity. Tampa has lost another iconic figure that cannot be replaced. But his legacy will live on through his company, his bakery, and his family. May God bless his soul and grant peace to his entire family, as well as the Tampa community that Phil served so well.

Phil Alessi was my friend for more than 50 years . . and a beloved colleague in Tampa sports. He was a legend as a boxing promoter. My condolences to Jason, Dena and all of the family.
