Only just found out about the death of Phil, so utterly shocked! Our deepest sympathy goes to his family.

He was a friend back in our carting days, beat him every time! Will be greatly missed.

How sadden I was to hear about his passing my thought are with all his family at this sad time

My name is Lynda Hibbitt (Craig). Phil was like a son to my dad, he cared for my mum and supported me through my life until we both got married; then life took us in different directions. Phil attended both my mum and dad's funeral and I phoned him from time to time to see how he was doing. However, until today, 13 April, I had no idea he had died. I am utterly devastated and, would have attended his funeral. If any of the family would contact me my number is 01772614382.

I remember, at least twelve years ago now Phil, busy as he was, took time to sit by my mum's bedside when she was dying. Phil will always be in my heart and I will never forget him.

SO SAD FOR HIS LOSS - MAY HE REST IN PEACE.

Only spoke to him a few weeks ago, stunned, and saddened. Great guy, brilliant company, generous and kind. Not much of a golfer though. Miss ya mate x
