Just found out today... You will be missed.

It's almost a year, but it seems like yesterday when my brother Frankie came to tell me what happened. A day I will never forget.. You are dearly missed Phil, a true friend you were.

Dear Phil,

I was devastated when I found out about your passing. I turned on the news that night and my mind went blank. Not my boss, I couldn't believe it.

I worked for you in the sanitation division for more than six years. It was a pleasure and honor representing the Dejana name while fulfilling my job 100%.

You would see me many times doing my job, stop and nod your head as if to say "you're doing a great job." I would see you in the yard and you would wave and say hello.

I will never forget how that made me feel. You had a heart of gold.

I will never forget the holiday parties, all holiday "gifts" and the Dejana generousity.

It was a pleasure to have known you.
Rest in peace and may god bless you.

In the short time I did graphics work for Phil he quickly went from customer to friend. Its great seeing him wearing the shirts we designed so proudly in his last days. Race on Phil, it was an honor and a pleasure to have known and worked with you.

I was shocked and so very saddened to just learn of Phil's tragic passing. I had the priviledge of knowing all of you and working with Phil in both the EWR and Newark operation for many years. I have thought of his kindness, smile, and relaxed nature many a time since moving from NJ in 1994.

Phil You were a good friend to have met in this life.It was nice to have worked snow with you in the early days at logan.We worked hard,but still had some fun,and laughs.since then we've had our biannual phone chats,and I'm sorry to say we were about due for one.Take care My friend.I will forever miss You.
