Philip J. "Flip" Gore

Michelle you and your family are in my prayers - you have my deepest sympathy. Flip may be gone - but he will never be forgotten.

My sympathy and prayers are with you and your family. From reading many of the other guest entries, it truly sounds like he was a wonderful husband and family man with a lot of color for the right things in life. In the early days of our IBM "hub", he was always happy to help me with my server-build-crisis-of-the-day .... 8^). I do have a few memories when you brought Flip out with you for some of our regular Thursday "hub" outings. He seemed to fit right in with his humor, stories and genuine smile. I'm sure he will carry that approach forever through your heart and everyone he touched.

We are very saddened to hear the news of Flip's passing. So many memories of those years back at the 'bucket' -- Flip was one of a kind and made it fun to come to work every day. And we won't forget all the fun times beyond work... the ski trip, pizza outings, dinners. I still have that bottle of Thunderbird he brought to our housewarming in '86. We've been apart for a lot of years but we haven't forgotten all of you, and we'll never forget Flip.

Michelle.....I was so sorry to hear of your loss and remember you and Flip from the old days at the Bucket. I remember Flip's great sense of humor. and he was always such a happy guy. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

To Michelle and the entire family, I'm shocked to hear of Flip's sudden passing and you all have my most sincere condolences. There are no words, or they seem to fail me. He's gone too soon! I'm thankful for the wealth of warm, fond, beautiful memories of the wonderful times I shared with you, him and your entire family. You opened up your home to me --- you gave me a 2nd family! I celebrated my very 1st Christmas with you, and there were many a Thanksgiving that I was with you as well! Computers, on-line systems, LAN's, telephones, et al? Flip was the man! His laugh, his voice, him -- I'm not ready for him to be silenced. Love to you all.

To the Gore Family,
I was very sorry to hear of Flip's passing as I knew Flip when he worked in Bethesda, MD in the 1970's. I remember his sense of humor and his constant upbeat attitude. May your memories of him give you comfort in the many days to come.

My sincerest condolences to the Gore family. I've worked with Flip for several years and always found him to have a good sense of humor, and to always make sure we did things the right way. He will be missed.

There are some times that all the words are not enough to relieve the pain produced of the passing of the loved one.

I worked with Flip for several years a while back and he was certainly a character. We got a chance to reconnect recently and it was great seeing his physical transformation and new outlook on life. His humor, levity and debates on the latest gadgets will be missed.
