Prof. Hart was by far one of my favorite professors at OKCU Law. I took the last class in oil and gas that he gave and I knew as he retired from teaching, the school was losing something special. I have just now learned of his death and my heart and prayers go out to his family. He taught me more than lessons in oil and gas...he taught me lessons of life. God Bless you Prof. Hart....I will NEVER forget you!

I always looked forward to spending time with Mr. Hart every year at the Kuntz Conference. He would fill me in on the joyous milestones of his children and grandchildren with the biggest smile on his face and love in his heart. I will miss not seeing him.
My father, Eugene Kuntz, thought the world of Mr. Hart, and their shared love of Oil & Gas was deep. I know he and my mother were waiting with open arms to welcome him.
All of my love to the family, you will always be in my thoughts and prayers.

My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.

I am writing this for my Dad, Maynard E. Peterson, court reporter, now in the Norman VA Center five years. I remember Mr. Hart as Dad took depos for him and enjoyed his company so much. I read about OCU and my father took English classes there years ago. I read Mr. Hart was a "Granddaddy" and mine is a "Granddad." Being an adjunct professor I see a connection where my Dad taught up in Tonkawa, Ok court reporting for years. So I want to thank the family for a great man that even I remember him and Dad enjoyed his company and respected him. Mr. Hart will be missed by all of us. Thank you for this opportunity to share. Carolyn, Kenneth (K.P. to classmates) and I are grieving for you and your family. Phil had to have been one of my favorites from the Class of 1954 and I consider it a rare privilege to have met him through reunion planning. He was a delightful and unique man and Kenneth has always thought highly of him.
Although we will be unable to make the trip for the services, we will definitely be thinking of you. Kenneth & Elizabeth Hobbs

Dearest Carolyn, I am so sad to hear that Phil passed away. I know this is a tremendous loss to you and your family and to everyone who knew and loved him. I'm so glad they mentioned his devotion to Thompson, the cat. I'm making a donation to a cat sanctuary in Phil's honor, I think he would have liked that. Holding you in my heart and my thoughts,
