Philip Jermain Irish

I just learned of Phil's passing. It saddens me greatly. I last saw him in 2007 at our 40th University of Rochester. He was my fraternity brother at Alpha Delta Phi. I was looking forward to seeing him this. My most sincere condolences and wishes to his family.

I first met Phil when he came to visit his cousin Henry Choate in Virginia in 1971 who I was dating at the time and was immediately drawn to his kindness and gentle way. Phil, I will miss you deeply, as I always said you were my family and I loved you as did Henry. I know you and Henry are spending your time talking about cars and especially Chrysler 300.
My love and condolences to Mary, Katie and Heather, I know your heart is broken.

Phil's presence at gatherings of the 300 clubs always added to the beautiful cars in the parking lot and to the camaraderie. We were all blessed by his service to his country, his deep knowledge of 300's and their drivers and his dedication to the hobby. He will be missed but our memories of times with him and his responsible stewardship of his 300's will live on. May God grant his family and friends strength and peace at this time.
