he was my grandfather. He was a very kind man. I remember buying my first lottery ticket with my dad and him telling me stories about how my grandpa would always buy lottery tickets. Apparently one day he one. My grandpa was a amazing person who deserved the world.

My condolences dear Killeens. Your dad always made me feel welcome in your home, and I have fond memories of him, and his interested, but always brief inquiries about what was going on with me. I remember him too, every time I light a barbecue, or hear about Algonquin. I hope you're all finding the strength you need to get you through today... and the months to come. A big hug to you all, Catou.

Our Mom, Pauline Cullen, was very very sorry to hear of Phil's passing. He was considered a great table companion over the past couple of years at the WPM, always with spirited conversation and great interest in life. Phil was equally keen to chat with us when we'd cross paths during visits. Our deepest sympathies to his family.

Very sad to hear this news. An amazing man, a 'gentle giant' that always had a smile on his face. Phil & Astrid were great friends to my parents Karl & Carole Bruun, and because of that I'm sure, is why he watched over me while I attended Algonquin (just 'happened' to be walking down the hall when my first class of the morning broke). He went on to help make our wedding absolutely fabulous, pulling out all the stops at the International Dining Room. I'll never forget him that is for certain.
God Bless to all mourning this loss.

With sincere condolences we send you love, strength and healing. No doubt there will be an absence this Christmas but find comfort in the family, friends, and most of all the little ones that surround you. Philip's personality will reveal itself over time in each of them in different ways, easing the loss and reminding you that his spirit lives on. Much love, always, Mike and Cecilia Jette

I was saddened to read of Phil's death today . . . he was a wonderful man, and I thoroughly enjoyed my association with him when I was a Governor of Algonquin College. May the memories that you share as a family, help to sustain you in the days to come.
