Philip, I only learned of your death, and I know how dearly Tidewater loved and needed you. I was a Pittsburgh acquaintance of you and your family. May I add my sincere belated condolences to your wonderful family on your passing and my small but heartfelt morsel of fond memory.

I just found out about Dr. leavy’s passing. My heart goes out to his entire family and may he Rest In Peace. I really got to know him through my wife, she is a veteran and he was one of his patients. Very nice person.

We just found out today about the passing of Dr. Leavy. He was our primary care provider for several years at the VA. Dr. Leavy took his time with us, never making us feel he had to rush to get to his next patient, even though we always took extra time. He always spent a few minutes just chit chatting, talking about football(teasing about the Browns) our pets and our holiday decorations. To his family, we offer our sincere condolences.

I just found out today about the passing of Dr. Leavy. He was my primary care provider and I am heartbroken. Dr. Leavy took his time with me, never making me feel he had to rush to get to his next patient. He made sure I had all proper tests done and always asked how I was doing in general. To his family, I offer my sincere condolences. My Prayers go out to you all. Rest in Heaven Dr. Leavy.

I just found out about Dr. Leavy's passing. From the moment I met him, as a patient at the women's clinic, he seemed like such a friend. We would always chitchat for awhile at appointments. I'd catch him up on my school experiences. He'd talk about his sisters, wife, grandkids. Not once did I ever feel rushed. I will miss him. All my love and light to y'all.

I am sooo sad to hear this. He was my doctor at Hampton Va. He cared so much about his patients. He was the best doctor I ever had. He did a lot for me when no one else would. He will be greatly missed. My heart is with his family.

I worked with Dr. Leavy in the Women's Clinic at Hampton VAMC. He was "old school" in his practice and cared about his patients. He was passionate about the Steelers and loved baseball. We were close as nurse and doctor, but also friends. I will miss him greatly. I pray for peace and comfort for the family during this time of grief.

May the God of peace and strength be with you and your family. Dr. Leavy was the best primary care physician I've ever had. He was kind took the time to listen even about things that had nothing to do with medical condition. He was everything a true physician should be. He touched my life in such a profound way. May he continue to live on in your hearts and minds with all the wonderful memories.

Dr. Leavy was an incredible Physician to work with. Dr. Leavy always listened to his patients, was a very caring and gentle man. He also listened to his staff and treated everyone equal. On a personal note, Dad had an MI, he took excellent care of him in the ER. We have lost a true icon.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Respectfully always.

I will dearly miss this man. We knew each other from the time I was an intern at Portsmouth Family Medicine in 1999. He taught me a great deal and he was a good friend.
