I just bought a new house and thought of this lovely man, who left us too soon. He was one in a million.

Going through old photos and labeling for my children I have pictures of my aunt pat (who i was named after) and my aunt dot. They were my mothers neighbors growing up on barnett st in phila. Mr and Mrs Adams were my mothers icon parents. My mother became and raised us as catholic's because of your family members. In these past few months, internet research has shown me the pain of lost that your family has just had over the past few years. My family's prays are with you for healing and never underestimate the power of family kindness that has been passed down. May God Bless all of you for your futures.

My deepest and heartfelt sympathy. I had the pleasure of knowing Philip and Laura as their neighbor when they lived in the 7200 block of Lindell. The obituary describes so well the young man I came to know as he essentially rebuilt the house in which they were living. Regretfully I had not been in contact with him for many years, but remember his kindness and friendliness. RIP

As Philip's sixth grade teacher, I want you know that he was very special. His sister, Julie and Mother were dear to my heart, too. Hold fast to the promises in God's Word.

Our deepest and most sincere condolences to the LeFevre family on the passing of a most kind and gracious man.
Phillip provided needed equipment to the Child Life Department at Mercy Children´s Hospital over the years. Additionally, every December Phillip reached out to offer his help in providing presents to our needy families who would otherwise not have presents on Christmas morning. Phillip would arrive several days prior to Christmas every year with a carload of beautifully wrapped gifts for our Mercy kids and their family members. Phil never met the recipients of his generosity. He never witnessed the impact of his actions or the Christmas joy he gave to so many kids battling life threatening diseases and injuries. Never seeking acknowledgement or praise for his compassion and generosity, Philip chose to remain anonymous to the many Mercy families whose lives he touched in such a profound way.
Phillip was an exceptional man who was admired and loved by all of us who had the privilege of knowing him. He and his family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Phil´s dedication and caring towards his clients is well known. We always knew when he was in our office. His famous airplane cookies, his distinct voice and infectious enthusiasm. He will be sorely missed.
