In memory of
Steve Mansen
April 15, 2020
It was men like Phil Orr who were an example to me of what a man of God stands for. Such men like Phil had an indelible part in prompting the acceptance of my call to ministry. Though I have retired from ministry and have not seen Phil in years, I can so vividly remember Phil at the Central Christian Church in Dallas, his wife Martiele, and lf course his wonderful children especially my personal friend, Charles. My very best to his wonderful family and all who cherish his memory.

I remember Phil when I was very young -- Charles was a buddy of mine at Central Christian Church in Dallas and at F.P. Calliet Elementary School when my dad was the Associate Pastor at Central, Dallas. He will always remain in my memory what a kind and gracious man of God is and the kind of example we can all follow.

We were so saddened to hear about Phil's death. He and Martiele were such good friends when we were younger. My husband was Phil's roomate in college at A&M. You will be in our prayers, for God to comfort all your family.

We are all very sad to hear of Philip's death, he was a great individual and a great friend. Martiele was always one of our favorite people, we visited her in the hospital in Dallas near the end of her life. Philip and I grew up across the street from one another in Hartselle, Alabama and remained lifelong friends. He introduced me to Horace Vail in Dallas who convinced me to
join the Henry S. Miller Co. following my tour in the Army at Ft. Leavenworth,
Kansas. I had hoped to attend the services today and tomorrow but have just spent 2 days in the hospital and am unable to make the trip.
All of Philip's family will always be a special part of our family.
We send our Love to each of you.
