Eric Dreizen

Very sorry to hear about Phil's passing. He worked with my father, Samuel Dreizen, and they were friends for many years. He even lived next door for a couple of years! I never knew he had a son named Eric. I have to wonder if I played a part in that? I hadn't seen him since about 1964. My father was appointed judge in 1962, Phil in 1966, both by Pat Brown. I remember growing up in Santa Ana; Phil was part of my youth. I lost my dad in 1999 and I know how devastating it is. My deepest condolences to the Schwab family.

Dear Family,
I was Judge Schwab's bailiff in his courtroom for many years, during his term in Municipal Court. It was a pleasure to serve for and with him. He was a fair and wise judge and he is a great loss to many who worked with him, as well as the community.
My wife and I had the pleasure of having him marry us when he was a Superior Court Judge. We will be celebrating our 30th next year. We think of him as part of our celebration. He will always be in our hearts.
