On this day of remembrance, September 11, I want you to know that the loss of my brother Phil affects me much more than the loss of all the innocent lives we commemorate today.
Phil has been part of my life from before the day he was born and is still part of it. I remember him and his family every day in my thoughts and prayers. May God bless them and him and watch over them always.

My family and I want you to know how deeply and sincerely we feel for the loss of your loved one. Husband, father, grandfather, worker and friend to all. Remembering conversations that I had with him makes me smile, for he had a way of making me laugh and think about my situations in a lighter instance. It has been a joy to talk to Phil. Shirley we are praying that the pain lessens as time goes on for you, your sons and their loved ones and grandson.
