AGE: 83 • South River

Philip J. Testa died on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Old Bridge. He was 83. Born in Newark, he resided in North Plainfield before moving to South River 28 years ago. Mr. Testa was a construction worker for United Gunite in Irvington. He was a communicant of Corpus Christi church in S. River. Mr. Testa was also a member of Laborers Local 472 in Newark and retired after 50 years of service.

He was predeceased by his first wife Virginia Rooney, step daughter Diane Rasch and sisters Angie Pavlosky, Mary Koehl, and Rose Testa. Surviving are his loving wife of 26 years, Carol Angster Testa; three sons, Philip A. Testa and his wife Linda of Spotswood, Michael Testa of Lakewood, and Anthony Testa and his wife Joann of Bel Air, MA; two daughters, JuliAnne and her husband Ralph Farella of North Brunswick and Genise and her husband James Snook of Milltown; a brother, Fred Testa of Clark; a sister, Antoinette Dawidowicz of East Brunswick; 17 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday 11/18 at 10:00 AM at the BRUNSWICK MEMORIAL HOME, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick. Cremation will be private. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday 11/17 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. For directions please visitwww.brunswickmemorialhome.com.
