Tony, Katrina, Allysia. My heart and thoughts are with you. Philippe was a beauty both on and off the ice. The memories we collected as kids playing hockey together will always bring a smile to my face and many others. I always felt welcomed in your home. Thank you for the time we had.

Antonio, Katrina and Alyssia, we are so sorry to hear of Philippe’s passing and cannot imagine the pain of losing a son and brother. Every day since we heard the news we have been thinking of you and of Philippe. Though over the years we did not have many occasions to see him we will always remember one time when we went for a walk together near your house and Philippe, then being only about 12, wanted to show us his skate boarding skills. He climbed to the steepest roadway high above us and then arms raised he swooped down toward us dodging past garbage cans and dogs along the way. At the last moment as he approached us he came to a screeching stop at our feet. The expression on his face was of such joy from the thrill of that ride that we still recall it today. When we later heard how he loved daring things like mountain biking and jumping out of helicopters we definitely knew that Philippe liked to live his life set at maximum. We are glad that when he was here he enjoyed the gift of being able to live his life they way he wanted while being surrounded by a family that loved him. We extend our deepest sympathies to you and your family for the loss of a wonderful son and know that he’s out there somewhere off on yet another new adventure.

To the Marciano family. My heart goes out to all of you during this very difficult time. Losing such a sweet, funny loving young man is not easy at all. I have known Philippe since I was a little girl. I use to run around the complex with him playing whatever kids do at that moment. As the years passed I and my family had moved away but he and the Marciano family were never forgotten. You were all talked about here and there through out the years. I was fortunate to move back to the home I grew up in and as a result reconnect with Philippe. He had been to my home for dinner and drinks a few times and was able to meet my husband and son. He grew up to be the man I always thought and hoped he would be. He touched so many lives, more then he will ever know. He will be looking down on all of us and making sure we live our lives to the most. Philippe no matter what we will still think about you often and talk lots about the wonderful life though rather short you lived. You will be missed by all.

God is getting a great man that left this earth before we were ready to say goodbye.

Katrina, Allissia and Tony,

I’m so very sorry to hear of Philippe’s passing as a father this tugs deeply at my heart.

Katrina I want you to know that you and your family are in my prayers. When I first heard this it cut so deep to think of the pain and loss you were dealing with. We always hope that things unfold the way we pray for, that we leave this world for our next journey before our children. Katrina as a parent I can only try to express my deepest sympathy in words. Through these words I hope you understand that many think and pray for you and your family at this moment. Dear, please always remember that you gave the gift of life and love to Philippe and he then in turn shared it with others and this has blessed our world.

Allissia I can’t express in my words the depth of my sorrow for the loss of your brother. We go through life in our youth thinking that the love of family will always be there only a moment away. Dear, I know that your new family along with your mother and father can help you through this time, they have much to offer. Cry now as the hurt is deep but in time know that the love of your brother runs deep in your heart, deep enough to carry you through your life and to pass on to those yet to come.

Tony my friend my tears call to you knowing that ones heart at times will feel like it’s going to explode. You have given your all to your family, this I have seen firsthand. Know that Philippe’s felt your love throughout his short life and has in turn given that gift to those he has left behind which has only brought more good into this world. As a father I know we pray our families grow in size and strength that they feel love and give love. That they have a good life. As fathers we also pray we have a life that allows us to see this till our own end. That we leave first before our family clearing the way for their next calling.

Katrina, Allissia and Tony these words are from Rick it has been many years since we’ve spoken and I don’t know if your remember there are no short conversations with Rick hence the many words. I hope all of you understand that my family offers our deepest sympathy to your family. Life is very special it has much to offer but unfortunately it comes without any guarantees. What it does come with is the chance to have love come to us and through us. This can mean family and friends who are around year after year sharing special memories that last a lifetime. But it also at times will come with the love of those who pass through our life far too quickly. All though I have not talked to all of you for many years it does not mean that I am not thankful that each of you passed through my life including Philippe, I do think of you and smile.

Yes life has much to offer even through the pain, life filled with love understands this even through the tears. In the past couple of years I have lost my Grandmother, mother and father. From the road I walk today they have left but in heart and soul they still live, their lessons still heard their love still felt. Philippe’s love and words I pray help you through these days that his many memories carried in your heart still resonate through your soul. Pass his love on as it has much to offer. I send you my sympathy and love praying for God to help you with your loss also knowing that he waits for your son and brother......Rick

Philippe and I shared some amazing times together that I will forever keep in a special place in my heart. He brought me joy, love and so much laughter to my life. Philippe had a ability to allow me to "live outside the box" and he brought out the adventurous side in me. I will carry him with me everyday. I love you my dear dear friend. I pray daily that his family finds peace in the amazing memories they shared with him.

Love Always and Forever Tasha Alladina xoxox-always your little turtle.

We have know you since you and your sister were just wee ones being neighbours for many years on Cornell Way. Seeing you again last year to see what a wonderful and handsome young man you had grown into was so nice. Lives change and people move on into different entities of life and you have now gone into a journey that all of us will see one day. Your time was too short here on earth but your smile and soft manner will live on forever. God Bless you Phillipe !

I loved this young Man and knew him since he was a baby as his mother Katrina and I have been friends since we were 10 years old. I will always remember him for being so funny and sweet and so loving. I know he is still around us giving his parents and sister strength through this tough time. I'm so glad to have seen the whole family recently at his sister's baby shower and see how proud he was to be the future God father of his future nephew..... What a great Loss for all of us love Maria West
