Macon, GA- Services for Phillip Anderson are 1:00PM, Saturday, September 13, 2014, at Faith First United Methodist Church, with interment at Middle GA Memory Gardens.
Phillip was a Bibb County native, graduate of Peter G. Appling and a U.S. Navy veteran.
Survivors include: mother, Doris J. Watkins; children, Phillip J. "Andy" (Marilyn), Christopher D., and Eric J. Anderson; brother, Willie Coleman (Barbara) Brown; sister, Jacquelyn Elaine (Carl) Dixon; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

I am sorry to hear of the passing of as he would say "Phillip Anderson". Well I guess I won't hear your phone calls anymore on Saturdays to let me know you were coming on Tuesday to get your hair cut. I am glad that I was able to talk with you as it turned out to be our last conversation. You will be truly missed and just know I will keep your family in prayer. Tuesdays will never be the same. Rest on my friend.

To the family of Mr. Phillip I know it's a hard time for some, and a blessings either way for some, but never the less it was his time and God saw fit to have him back.
Think on the precious times you were given with him, God gave you many good days.
Nothing will ever be the same, but it's not suppose to be.
Love on each other the very best you can and stay close to one another.

Rest in peace Phillip. God bless the family with good memories of your beloved and peace. Phillip is with God now, where there is no pain and suffering. I've known Phillip since we attended Hunt and Appling schools together. He was a sweet mannerable young man.
