Uncle Phil thank you for your guidance in high school, as my teacher, football and basketball coach. But more importantly as a mentor.

I remember him always calling me my aunt, Phyllis, often. He always had a smile and a kind word for you. In his Geography class, he asked a student who was trying to be funny, "how would you like to be like Daniel in the lion's den but with pork chop underwear? Not so funny huh. Then straighten up before I eat you up." I thank GOD for time well spent with Mr. Clifford. Family, continue to be there for one another and your aunt. RWG

Mr Clifford was one of my favorite teachers and I loved how he helped to coach our women's community softball team in Clairton. He had so much patience with us. Mr. Clifford you will be missed. Rest peacefully.

My deepest sympathies to the family of Phil Clifford. Phil was one of the best and had a great sense of humor. We worked together at Clairton Schools for many years. Phil will truly be missed by many!
