In memory of
Tammy Mahoney
July 13, 2007
Phil married my mother Judy, and I felt that we shared a wonderful father with his lucky children, and my mother gained her eternal partner and soul mate. That was all so abruptly taken from us but the memories we will share as a close blended family will carry on in his memory. I have never had a more positive, respectful, talented, loving man in my life, and there will never be anyone who in my eyes will be as perfect as him. I miss him everyday and I know my mother must feel so empty and lonely, but I thank all her very caring friends who are there for her when her children can't be due to work and family committments. She is a very strong and courageous woman and has many special friends that keep her going. I love you Mom, and I miss the heck out of Dad, but I know he is no longer sick and struggling but I would have given anything I had to get him better and have him return to the fun and happy man he was, just cancer free! I know he watches over us and misses you tons, you were the one woman that he loved with all his heart and wanted to do anything that made his special wife happy. I loved him and so did so many other people and he influenced so many lives in a good way...God Bless Him! I miss you Dad, thanks for leaving me with so many awesome memories and for giving me opportunities I had never experienced until my mother and you chose to be together, I LOVE YOU FOREVER!!

There will always be a hole in the world where Phil Hatch used to be. He will surely be missed, and our hearts go out to his family--especially our dear friend Judy.
Br. Hatch wasn't ever one for fanfare, and seemed to prefer to be on the back row, but when something needed to be done, he was always there. When he said he would do something, it was as good as done. What a sterling example of steadfast and Christlike service and love--and humility and meekness.
If we can adopt just a little of his "non-whining" attitude and consciously keep on "keeping on," his sweet legacy will certainly live on.
We pray God's tender blessings on the Hatch family and especially on Judy. With all our love,
Tom, Kathy, and Anna Birch

I would like to Thank everyone for their kind words and thoughtful prayers during this difficult time. I cannot begin to describe the kind of father my dad was to all his children, and the things we experienced because of him. I will keep riding my four-wheeler and always think of him.
I would like to express my love and appreciation to my husband Dale, for the support and love he gives to me, especially at this time. And to my brothers and sisters, I love each and every one of you with all my heart. And to Judy, I love you so much and I'm glad you have been there for our father. My dad will live on forever in each and every one of us.
Thanks again to all of our friends, and to all who knew my dad.

To the Hatch family, We are so sorry to here of Phil"s passing. Our families grew up together as Karl and Phil built their dune buggy's. We had such fun time at the sand dunes and all the camping trips we took back then. Some of our fondest family memories are of times our young families spent together.

Phil will be missed dearly by everone here at Goldfield. It was a daily pleasure to see his smiling face for the past 18 years that I worked with him, It seems that he always had a smile and never had a bitter word to say about anyone. we used to joke he and I, that one day he would finally share his hair with me like the day when at work it accidently took a dip and he swore me to secret that I never discribe it to anyone. I purchased a trailer from phil that he made and like anything that Phil did the craftsmanship and pride was easy to spot. I know that in his new home he is probably doing a few fixer-upers for the Lord, and he will never have to just throw something away again just because it broke because Phil could fix it all. From my family to the Hatch Family our blessings and thank you for sharing Phil with us
