Phil & Sherrill: We tried to contact you personally, to no avail. We are so sorry about Nino. It was shocking to read about it in the paper. Nothing can adequately extend our sympathies to you. We hope that in time you will be able to deal with Nino's loss.

Hello there...Sorry to hear about Philip's passing. Although I don't know if I ever personally met him, we are from the same area and share a common interest...KISS.

A Facebook friend posted this on my page because she knows I'm a fan. I reposted on my page also, so don't be surprised it this guest book lights up !

If I'd have known sooner, I would have stopped by and tossed over some KISS Confetti I have stored away from Baton Rouge in '79.

Oh well, enough from a stranger. We'll all meet up with Phillip again one day.

Lizzy, I am saddened by your loss. Even though I haven't seen you, or your dad in months, I know that you are the Sun of his universe. I was always impressed by the love, and pride, he had in you. More than anything else, he wanted you to be happy, safe, and to realize all of the positive potential you had within you. He also did not want people with crummy attitudes to negatively affect your positive self-identity. I know your dad can't wait to see your smiling face in your college yearbook. You will be on the page with a caption saying you had the highest GPA of anyone in your graduating class. It should also say your dad's love for you is the main reason your smile is so big! Your dad would always talk about your sweet personality, and that anyone who didn't appreciate it needed an attitude adjustment! I am now going to say something both of us want you to do. YOU GO GIRL!. Your dad is counting on you to keep his spirit alive! Please don't ever forget all the good times you had with him. I hope you continue the tradition of bicycle riding. Not only because you did it with your dad, but because it is relaxing, and healthy for your whole body, especially your brain. I was fortunate to have known both of you. I know you are going to make it. Please don't stand in your own way, like I once did to myself. You deserve all the happiness life has to offer.

Dear Nino, There are no words for us to adequately express our sorrow. Our hearts are broken because we don't have you here with us, but we know that your spirit will be kept alive forever in all the great memories of the many good times we shared. Your life and love has left an indelible imprint on our hearts. Let your spirit spread healing, peace, strength and comfort over your family and friends so they may endure and persevere through this mournful tragedy of now living our lives without you here with us. You were and are such a gentle, kind and loving spirit and you will never be forgotten. We'll see you on the other side. Love and Hugs,

SHERRILL, PHIL, LIZZY, KEVIN, ZACK, LINDA and all the NEGRI Family: -- NINO and all of you have been my "other" family and dearest of friends. I am terribly saddened that he was called away so soon from his Earthly Home here with his family that loved him so... Nino was a "genuinely" kind, gentle, talented guy; and a wonderful, proud "Dad" to his sweet daughter. I pray with all my heart that all of you find the strength in remembering the good times and happiness he brought to so many in his character and in his love of music. And take comfort in knowing that we will all be reunited with our passed loved ones when we meet again in our "Heavenly Home" of eternal peace with no more struggles, pain, grief or suffering ever again. And I, as many, will "Miss you Nino." Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers, always. Much love to my Negri family/friends--

Nino,I will always carry you in my heart and in my memories. I first met you when we were in high school at EJ but I loved getting to get to know you better in our twenties. You were always such a sweetheart! I never heard anyone say a negative thing about you and I never heard you say anything negative about anyone else. You will be missed tremendously! I love you, Nino, and I will always think of you fondly.

November 8, 2011

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
