She was a saint of a mother as we ran up & down her stairs, in & out of her back door in Astoria. She never got mad at us kids when we were playing. Loved the red wine spritzers - we thought it was grape soda. Oh, she was wonderful, a beautiful blonde, cheerful & kind. I'm not surprised that as an elderly woman she would offer to share her bed w her nurses because they "must be tired". Kind, generous & loving until the very end. Everyone who knew you will miss you Phylis. Rest in peace.
