Phylis BIENENSTOCK Obituary
After a brief illness, on Friday, December 5, 2014. Beloved wife of Sam for thirty-four years. Devoted mother of Rachel, Harry, and Sarah. Daughter of the late Gertrude and the late Harry Silberstein. Dear sister and sister- in-law of Shirley and Mickey Schuman; and sister-in-law of Helen and John Miller, Harvey and Roslyn Bienenstock. Cherished niece of Simon and Pearl Beitner. Phylis will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephew, and by all who knew and loved her. Special thanks to the staff at the Segal Cancer Centre for their care, kindness and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Monday, December 8 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Beit Abraham Congregation Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Shiva at her home from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily. Donations in her memory may be made to the Segal Cancer Centre c/o the Jewish General Hospital Foundation, (514) 340-8251.
