Phyllis was an excellent teacher. She was the advisor for the W.V. Yearbooks and the first yearbook in 1971 was dedicated to Phyllis. She was loved by all!

Phyllis was one of the most kind and generous, fun-loving and adventurous friends that I have known. I have so many wonderful memories of time spent with her at WVHS and also with her and Mark at her house and camp. Mark, Deb and Stephen, I will always treasure those memories and her friendship. Heaven has certainly gained an angel.

Mrs Artz was a great teacher, mentor and friend to me, while I attended WV High School. So sorry to hear of her passing. She definitely had a wonderful impact on my life.
