Phyllis Elaine Hartenstine

Phyllis Elaine Hartenstine (née Moser), aged 76, of Barto, PA, passed into eternal rest on November 5, 2024. Born on November 16, 1947, Phyllis was a respected and beloved figure in her community, known for her loving, kind, and compassionate nature.

A graduate of Boyertown Area Senior High School, class of 1965, Phyllis dedicated her professional life to Mutual Industries (formerly Columbia Tape), Great American Knitting Mills, and the Montgomery County SPCA. Her intelligence and understanding made her a valued colleague and friend to all who worked alongside her.

A lifelong member of Christ Lutheran Church of Niantic, Phyllis's faith was a cornerstone of her existence, guiding her in her daily life and in her commitment to her family and friends. Her hobbies, which included crossword puzzles, reading, crocheting, and sewing, were a reflection of her patience and the love she poured into every detail of her life.

Phyllis is survived by her daughters, Bonnie Hartenstine, Tina Hartenstine, and Melissa Hartenstine; grandchildren, Charles Patt III and Brianna Patt; and brothers, Dennis Moser, Larry Moser, Jeff Moser, Marvin Moser, and Carl Moser. She was preceded in death by her parents, Doris Moser (Wasson) and Leroy Moser; her beloved husband, John Hartenstine; her son, Thomas Hartenstine; and her daughter, Betty Patt (Hartenstine).

The family invites friends and loved ones to a service in memory of Phyllis at Christ Lutheran Church in Niantic, PA, on December 14, with the time to be announced. Phyllis's gentle spirit and enduring love will be deeply missed, yet her legacy will continue to inspire those who knew her.
