Phyllis Lawhorn Obituary
Preceding Phyllis in death is her husband; Dennis Lawhorn, mother; Thelma Williamson, son; Freddy Settle Jr. and grandson; Richard Morgan.
Left to cherish Phyllis's memory are her children; Carla Morgan and Jeffery Dawson, step-daughter; Cara Schroeder (Brent) and their two children, Phyllis's grandchildren; Fred Dawson, Jeffery Dawson, Stephen Dale Abrams III (Elisabeth), Jimmy Montgomery, Joey Montgomery and Nikki Pierce, her great-grandchildren; Destin, Kamron, Maxwell, Jackson, Judy, Paige, Payton, Avery and several others.
Visitation for Phyllis will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2017 from 4:00pm-8:00pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven. A celebration of Phyllis's life will be held on Friday, September 22, 2017 at 12:00pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd., Louisville, KY 40218 with entombment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park, 4400 Bardstown Rd., Louisville, KY 40218.
Memorial contributions in honor of Phyllis may be made to the Gilda's Club of Louisville, www.gildasclublouisville.org.

RIP Phyllis, I will miss reminiscing and our conversations, you had the best laugh and always found laughter in everything, give Freddy a big hug from me, I will always love you both and will be a part of my heart for the remainder of my time on earth.

Phyllis you were always so kind and loving to me and such a sweet soul with a bit of sass! lol!! I loved being around you and chit-chatting on the phone with you. You will be terribly missed! I pray that God wraps his arms around your family during this time! RIP and fly high, Angel! You deserved those wings for sure!!
